AC Milan got the job done on Labour Day as Rafael Leao’s late goal was enough to grind out a 1-0 win over Fiorentina at San Siro earlier today.
MilanNews recall how the first half was quite balanced with Milan having plenty of early chances but with Fiorentina able to play the ball calmly and to evade the imperfect pressure of the Rossoneri.. Milan did not test Terracciano enough as Giroud, Leao and Theo Hernandez all missed the target from very dangerous positions.
Then Leao’s deserved goal came and it was a liberation of sorts, not just because it was a chance finally taken but also because it came so late and was therefore basically a guarantee of three points.
Regardless of Inter’s win over Udinese, Milan continues to hold their own destiny and they showed today that they are able to get the job done under pressure, even in the final games when the margins for ever are so small. It is with this mentality that the Rossoneri can aim for the Scudetto.
Just lucky win because Fiorentina GK asist leao. AC Milan need to fix weakest position RW and AMF next summer with new player . If we are Scudetto this season it Will be miracle like Leicester did on EPL , looking at our cheap squad
Milan attacking become so predictable, coz it depend on the left side. Pioli need to fix amc and rw as soon as possible, at least for the next 3 games

We were 2nd last season.
One way to fix RW NOW (and not wait til next season) is to start Rebic and not play Messias or Saelemakers. Rebic created good threats for us and his pressing made Fiorentina turnover the ball multiple times including the time at about 71:30 when we got the ball in a dangerous position and Quarta then had to foul and picked up a yellow card.
He also had some nice dribbling and some good forward balls/passes to Ibra.
Messias is complete garbage compared to Rebic. We need to start scoring more goals in the first half and he can make a difference and also not be so predictable that we always create threats on the left side with Theo and Leao. We need more balance with our offensive threats.
It also doesn’t help that Calabria’s passing has been poor. His crosses have been poor and his passing inaccurate. His defending was excellent today; but he with Messias on teh right side — it’s obvious why our attack is so poor on the right side.
Diaz was the worst of all today though.
Kessie and Theo (and Kalulu) were excellent entire match. Maignan is the hero of the game.
It is not a sustainable way to win.. Our attackers arent dangerous at all compared to Inter, Juve, Napoli
We have stronger GK, Deffence and Midfield.
But attack? Meh
If pioli can field ds squad for the remaining fixtures, we are getting all 9 points
