CM: Milan and Spurs reach agreement over Kessie deal but his stance has disrupted everything

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan and Tottenham found an agreement over the transfer of Franck Kessie but the player has rejected the move, according to a report.

According to Calciomercato.com, Spurs boss Antonio Conte has identified Kessie as ‘the perfect profile’ to arrive in January and bolster a team that has top four aspirations, and he was so insistent that it prompted Fabio Paratici to step on the accelerator.

The former Juventus director immediately begun talks with Milan and after a few days of negotiations, the two clubs reached an agreement for the immediate transfer of the Ivorian. However, it was Kessie himself who put a spanner in the works.

That is because the 25-year-old intends to honour his contract with the Rossoneri and stay until the end of the season, with the Scudetto challenge deemed ‘too important an incentive’ for the midfielder, who is currently at the African Cup of Nations.

This is also a factor, because he is unable to concentrate mentally on market issues while he is representing his country. Talks can be resumed in June, but Kessié has made it known that until that date he intends to give his best for Milan.

  1. What a nonsense. At least give Milan transfer fee, idiot…we got nothing from Dollarumma and that Snake… so we can’t afford big names for our squad… and then here comes again…

  2. If true then he is a steaming pile of thing that comes out of a business end of a horse. He already agreed terms with someone, and the only way his manager and god knows who else get their commission is if he leaves on free.

Seriously if there is even a hint of true here, don’t bench him, send him to the stands. No training, no contact with the team or football pitch until he either puts pen to paper or leaves.

  3. LOL, Paratici and Levy have us linked to Kessie, Dembele, De Ligt, Dybala and Vlahovic, none of them will sign for Spurs, Levy will sign some nobody and fill the team even more with players that aren’t good enough and ones that he’ll not be able to sell when the time comes, just like now, he had to give away Aurier, he’ll probably have to do the same with Doherty, and Emerson. Even our supposedly better players like Dele and Ndombele, he’s having trouble outing them. LOL,
Levy wouldn’t know a class player if he jumped up and kicked him in the crown jewels. Levy, Lewis and ENIC OUT !!!

  4. Such a selfish a**hole! He only does this to increase his market value (scudetto champion) and to get more money from the free transfer. FU CASHIE!

  5. it’s quite unfortunate I know what that idiot wanted to do he wanted to leave for free just bench him don’t even use him, i hope we win this night Forza Milan.

  6. I’m very disappointed the club didn’t sell him last summer when it was clear he was going to leave, but now isn’t the right time – for what little money Tottenham would offer now hell be of more use to Milan helping to keep a top 4 slot; it’s not like he hasn’t been one of the better players this year.

Go out on a high! I don’t expect the league win, but top 4 again and improving on last year would be great

    1. What’s the next step from improving from last season?? We finished 2nd place last season. So if a league win is not what you expect, then your expectations are misplaced bro… Aiming for a top 4 finish after coming 2nd place last season is having a defeatist mentality.

  7. Horrible. If he wants to leave that’s fine and it’s his right but don’t give us this BS about wanting to honor your contract. If Kessie really cared about Milan he would at least let us get some kind of transfer fee for him rather than nothing…this guy turned out to be a drama queen. Sigm Kamara for free to replace him pls
