Milan’s stalemate a shame amid big crowd at San Siro – the revenue collected

By Isak Möller -

Just under 70k fans were at San Siro yesterday for Milan’s game against Bologna. Unfortunately, the Rossoneri didn’t give them much to celebrate as the game ended 0-0, dropping two important points.

Although the game wasn’t a success on the pitch, Milan collected a lot of revenue from the ticket sales as a total of 68.136 were at the stadium. This was confirmed by the club last night (via SempreMilan), quoting a total revenue of €1.233.616,00.

Stefano Pioli’s men were not booed by the fans at full-time as most of them recognised the hard work put into the game. The final touch was just missing and hopefully, this draw won’t be the end of the amazing enthusiasm we have seen in the last few days.

Now more than ever, the players need the support of the fans and looking at the standings, Milan still have everything in their own hands. That is worth keeping in mind before the criticism starts flooding in.
