AC Milan are struggling to make progress with sales and it is affecting their ability to make signings, a report has claimed,
According to MilanNews, 10 players have left Milan this summer when factoring in expiring contracts, loans and sales. The most significant revenues so far have come from the sales of Tijjani Reijnders and Theo Hernandez, which brought in a combined €80m.

Added to this are €14.3m from the buy-out of Pierre Kalulu by Juventus and €3.5m from Marco Pellegrino, who returned to Huracán on loan and was acquired by Boca Juniors. Total revenues are €97.8m, therefore.
Obviously, nothing has come from the players at the end of their contracts, Alessandro Florenzi and Luka Jovic, as well as from the loanees, all of whom were sent back to sender: Kyle Walker, Tammy Abraham, Joao Felix, and Riccardo Sottil.
Sales blocked
There are quite a few players stuck in the exit door though. Como is the common denominator for Malick Thiaw and Alvaro Morata. While the German rejected them, the Spaniard accepted it but has so far been blocked by Galatasaray, who have him on loan until the winter window.

Yacine Adli has had admirers in Russia who have come forward, specifically Spartak Moscow. Having rejected the destination, the Frenchman risks playing in Serie D with Milan Futuro, where he has been with Devis Vasquez. Something could happen Saudi Arabia, but not any time soon.

This is completely normal. Two seasons of poor planning and terrible transfers will not be undone in one transfer window. We are not an attractive team anymore. We need to offer an exciting project with competent people leading it. We don’t have that. We don’t even have an exciting coach. Allegri is solid but players aren’t dreaming of playing under him. Now, players want to play for Conte and up and coming coaches like Italiano and Fabregas. Heck, Mourinho managed to bring Lukaku, Dybala, Paredes, Matic and many others to Roma and he brought Dzeko, Nesyri, Amrabat, Saint Maxim to Fenerbahçe. Without drastic changes, this season will be similar to Allegri’s last two seasons at Milan with Balotelli, Shaarawy, Niang, Montolivo, Mexes, Muntari, Bojan, Birsa, Konstant…etc.
