GdS: Milan in talks with Bordeaux management over January agreement for midfielder

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are in talks with Bordeaux over the potential early termination of Yacine Adli’s loan spell, according to a report.

The Frenchman was signed during the recent summer window but left again on loan to Bordeaux for another year, with the idea being that such a condition would help Milan seal the deal but also allow Adli to continue his development at a club where he is assured of good playing time.

However, the problems that Milan are set to battle with the African Cup of Nations – during which kessie and Bennacer will depart – means the agreement is being reviewed. La Gazzetta dello Sport (via Calciomercato.it) writes that Milan are talking with the management of Les Girondins to see if they will let him join the Rossoneri six months earlier than agreed in the summer.

Maldini and Massara are at work, but it will not be easy to convince Bordeaux who are not doing well in Ligue 1 as they are sat in 15th place, with Adli as one of their key performers.
