CorSport: Milan have target in mind should Bakayoko leave in January

AC Milan will make a swift move for Lyon midfielder Houssem Aouar if Tiemoue Bakayoko leaves the club in January, a report claims.

As has been reported by Corriere dello Sport, the Rossoneri will quickly turn their attention to long-term target Aouar if they can offload Bakayoko.

Turkish side Adana Demirspor, coached by Vincenzo Montella, are showing serious interest in the Frenchman and by offloading him for the remainder of his loan from Chelsea, Milan can stop paying his wages.

That would free them up to enter the market for a new player, and Aouar is the player of choice.

He is out of contract with Lyon at the end of the season but it would take a transfer fee to sign him in January.

He is thought to be very keen on a move to Milan and would give them priority despite their being lots of interest from other clubs.

  1. I think everybody knows Bakayoko will find a way to stay so he can collect his big wages! So I won’t be surprised in the slightest that Bakayoko will not leave in January

  2. Another BS story. Even if Baka leaves we won’t spend to sign his replacement. Hell I will fly Baka to Turkey myself if it means we will sign Aouar to replace him but it won’t happen.
