Theo Hernandez is working hard in training to get back to his best, but in the meantime AC Milan are reportedly targeting another left-back.
According to Calciomercato.com, there are no doubts in Theo’s mind: he wants to return to being the player who wrote beautiful chapters in Milan’s history as one of the best full-backs in world football, and he is working towards that.
Sergio Conceicao wants to be close to him in his own way too. The photo that portrays them shoulder to shoulder during Ismael Bennacer’s speech at the final whistle of the match won against Juventus has an important symbolic value.
The journey is still long and performances like the one last Friday – in which he was at fault for the goal conceded – must be improved upon, but the news is that today the two worlds have returned to being closer. That of Milan and that of Theo Hernandez.
However, Almugera Kabar of Borussia Dortmund is a concrete target for Milan. He has made only three appearances as a substitute this season but he has big potential given that he is just 18 years of age.
This interest also tells of a clear strategy by Milan, who are not looking for a replacement for Theo Hernandez but a player who can take his place further down the line. Kabar – or an alternative target – would therefore arrive as an understudy initially.
Meanwhile, the negotiation for the renewal of Theo Hernandez is moving forward despite the objective difficulties. There is the will on both sides to extend the agreement expiring in 2026, as his agent Manuel Quilon confirmed after a meeting late last year.
The gap between the offer on the table from the club and the salary demanded by Theo’s entourage is around €1.5-2m net per year and must be bridged, but the important starting point is a common desire to continue the relationship for years to come.
How about you guys sign Hartman from Feyenoord or
Jorell Hato from Ajax or
Adrian Truffert from Rennais or
Rayan Ait Nouri from Wolves or
Fabbiano Parisi from Fiorentina or
Maxim De Cuyper from Club Brugge? They are better players than him that prolly going to Milan Futuro
this is not CM or FM manager dude…
These players aren’t going to cost crazy amount dude. What are you talking about? About Fifa or Football Manager these players that i mentioned are better its true and don’t cost crazy money so yh Kabar could be good but doesn’t have exp so he will probably going to Futuro so i don’t get your comment its pointless
Some no name 18yo..
What would that mean for theo indeed.
Sure the guy isn’t in form but realistically speaking there are a handful of players that can replace replace him.
His slump won’t last forever.
no no no enough of these randomised people no offense but we dont need another mediocre footballer to replace theo
Dude looks 30.
no no no, cause the question is not, what it would mean for Theo but what it would mean for Bartesaghi.
I would agree with our young academy, in other hand we still have jewelry also in Jimenez
What does it mean for Theo? Means that he can rest more minutes, assuming the kid isn’t going directly to futuro.
