GdS: Milan could let three players go in January to raise funds

By Euan Burns -

AC Milan could be set to sell three players in the January transfer window in order to raise money for other moves, a report claims.

As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport (via Milan News) on Tuesday morning, the Rossoneri are set to say goodbye to Yacine Adli, Fode Ballo-Toure and Tiemoue Bakayoko in the winter window after the 2022 Qatar World Cup.

Milan have serious desires to strengthen the attacking midfield area but that means that players must depart first to make space.

For Adli, it is most likely that he will be sent on a six-month loan deal to another Italian club or even elsewhere in Europe so that he can get some serious game time.

For Bakayoko and Ballo-Toure, a permanent exit appears to be on the cards. Bakayoko has long been out of Stefano Pioli’s plans and his loan could be terminated six months early.

For selling Ballo-Toure, Milan hope to get around €5 million.
