Milan to replace Balotelli with Genoa striker?

By Isak Möller -

Milan signed Balotelli on loan hoping that they could revive the Liverpool flop. However, with the striker being out for the majority of the season due to injuries, it looks like the Rossoneri will not buy him at the end of the season.

Today’s edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, reports that Milan could decide to not buy Mario Balotelli after the season, and replace the striker with another Italian, Genoa’s Leonardo Pavoletti, who has managed to find the net ten times this season.

Milan will face Genoa at the San Siro on Sunday, however, Pavoletti will not have the chance to show his quality as he is out for injury.

La Gazzetta Dello Sport reports that Milan are ready to offer €15m for Pavoletti and that the Rossoneri’s good relationship with Genoa makes them the favourites to sign the striker.
