MN: 845 career goals and a wealth of experience – Milan boast two champion strikers

By Oliver Fisher -

For the first time in many a season, AC Milan will start the new campaign with two quality centre-forwards in Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Olivier Giroud.

As MilanNews writes, Stefano Pioli will have a formidable pair at his disposal for the new season who have won virtually everything that there is to win between them, including league titles, scoring awards and even a World Cup and Champions League trophy for the Frenchman.

Ibrahimovic has scored 564 goals in his career (62 of which came with the Sweden shirt) and 84 of these came with Milan, with the personal target set to hit 100 before next season is over. If the 39-year-old is fine physically, it is far from impossible to achieve.

Giroud has scored 281 times in his career meanwhile (46 times with France) and will immediately try to increase his tally. In total, Pioli will have two strikers who have scored 845 goals in their career and few teams can boast two strikers with such an illustrious career and such experience.
