AC Milan have made last-minute contacts with versatile Genoa man Romulo Caldeira, a report claims.
It is no secret that Leonardo wants to give Gennaro Gattuso a wide player before the window shuts, with the likes of Yannick Carrasco and Allan Saint-Maximin recently linked.
Milan now seem to be looking more locally though, and MilanNews state that the Rossoneri face a battle with Lazio in order to sign Romulo on deadline day.
Predominantly a right-winger, the Italo-Brazilian can play in both central midfield and at full-back, and the player would apparently accept a back-up role.
