MN: Atletico stance revealed as Milan continue to negotiate for Correa

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are continuing their negotiations for Angel Correa but Atletico Madrid are refusing to budge on their valuation, a report claims.

The Argentine has repeatedly been linked with a move to the Rossoneri this summer as Marco Giampaolo seemingly sees him as a perfect second striker for his 4-3-1-2 system

Milan and Atletico are believed to have been in constant negotiations for the player, but both sides are stuck on the assessment.

According to the latest report from MilanNews.it, Atletico are refusing to back down from their €50million valuation – and they want the whole fee up front.

Milan meanwhile are not willing to raise their offer beyond €45m (€40m + €5m in bonuses) – however it is also acknowledged that Atleti need the money to try and sign James Rodriguez from their city rivals.

Correa is apparently keen on making the move to San Siro, as he isn’t in the plans of Simeone. Therefore, Atletico will be looking to go through with the sale this summer, and the closure is now only a matter of time.
