In today’s edition of La Gazzetta Dello Sport, the newspaper takes a look at the negotiations between AC Milan and Atletico Madrid for Angel Correa.
The Argentine, we can read, is considered to be the right man for the Rossoneri’s attack next season, but the negotiations have slowed down in recent days after the deal seemed to be closed initially.
Milan and Atletico are in advanced negotiations for the player, but both sides are stuck on the assessment of the bonuses. The Rossoneri’s offer is based on €40m, which the Spanish side seem willing to accept, but the bonuses are yet to be determined.
Meanwhile, Correa is keen on making the move to San Siro, as he isn’t in the plans of Simeone. Therefore, Atletico will be looking to go through with the sale this summer, and the closure is now only a matter of time.
