MN: Bakayoko finally available again – the Frenchman is a precious resource for Pioli’s midfield

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan will welcome back a valuable resource for the midfield tomorrow night as Tiemoue Bakayoko will be back in the squad to face Porto.

The Frenchman already made his first appearance of the season against Lazio at the beginning of September, but his big return to San Siro lasted only a few minutes due to an injury to his calf that forced him to have a month on the sidelines.

MilanNews reports that yesterday Bakayoko returned to work with the rest of the squad so Pioli has no hesitation in including him in the squad list for tomorrow night’s important away match against Porto.

The report adds how Bakayoko returned on a two-year loan with an option to buy that becomes an obligation upon the occurrence of certain conditions, and he is here to offer an important set of attributes and add physicality to the midfield. His recovery is important both for tomorrow evening due to Kessie’s absence  and for when Bennacer and Kessie will leave for the Africa Cup of Nations.
