MN: Brahim Diaz continues to impress in preseason – he has one aim for the season ahead

By Oliver Fisher -

One of the shining lights of the preseason campaign so far has been Brahim Diaz, and he continued that in last night’s 0-0 draw against Valencia.

MilanNews remarks how Brahim Diaz impressed again last night as the attacking midfielder behind Leao, showing that he is in a good rhythm already by setting up his team-mates and generally being the pivot of the attack, albeit without failing to register a goal or an assist.

At the Mestalla in Valencia, Brahim’s qualities were the link of a remodelled Milan. In a formation full of reserves, the Spaniard was the gravitational center of the Rossoneri game, acting as the link between the double pivot of Pobega and Tonali and the attack consisting of Daniel Maldini, Castillejo and Leao.

He was able to get between the lines and unleash his speed on several occasions, causing plenty of disorganisation, and he has one target in mind for the season ahead. The 22-year-old is ready to prove that he is much more than a reserve, and he wants to show that he is ready to make not only the No.10 shirt his, but the role as well.

    1. Brahim has alot to offer, there’s so much potential in that lad, but he needs to develop further, growing along side someone with a huge experience in that role.

Vlasic might not be the guy in question, probably someone like isco would be great, knowing how close both were at Madrid
