MN: Brahim Diaz recovers in time to face Dinamo Zagreb but will not start

There is some good news for Stefano Pioli in view of tonight’s Champions League group stage game against Dinamo Zagreb as Brahim Diaz will be available.

It was very much Brahim Diaz’s night on Saturday as he scored a first half brace against Monza including a fantastic solo run from the halfway line and a clinical strike into the bottom corner, but early in the second half he asked to come off while clutching the top of the back of his thigh.

Initially it seemed obvious that he would be out for a period time but positive reports emerged regarding his condition, and now MilanNews are reporting that Brahim Diaz’s checks this morning went well and therefore the Spaniard has recovered in time for tonight’s match.

The Rossoneri No.10 will start from the bench however, the starting attacking midfielder will be Charles De Ketelaere, who also won the battle against Rade Krunic.
