MN: Milan handed injury boost as Calabria fully returns to training

Some positive news has arrived on the injury front for AC Milan as Davide Calabria is back training with the rest of his team-mates.

According to the latest from MilanNews, Calabria has returned to training with the squad and is therefore fully available at the disposal of head coach Stefano Pioli again after spending a couple of weeks out.

The Rossoneri captain left the field prematurely after sustaining a muscle problem in the friendly match in the USA against Juventus on 28 July.

After about ten days he recovered and was ready to get back on the field because the issue was more fatigue-related rather than being a strain or a tear that would have required a more length recovery process.

With a couple more friendlies on the agenda over the weekend at Milanello, it is likely Calabria will get a run-out so he can get back closer to 100% condition in view of the opener against Bologna.

  1. I don’t understand Milan coach!!! He had a chance to sign Singo from Torino to FINALLY rid us from Calabria and Florenzi but he said we don’t need a right back!!!!! Am I the only one who think this Calabria might be the worst RB in the history of AC Milan !!!!!

    1. You dont know the history of Milan and Calabria is a great player.
He wears the red and black his whole life show some respect. What have you done for Milan?

  2. Right back ain’t the priority right now, because Kalulu can deputize there. The team needs to focus on bringing in a starting CDM and a CB to cover for Kalulu and Kjaer, especially if Kalulu is moved on to the RB.
