AC Milan are still waiting for a response from Hakan Calhanoglu regarding his renewal but he wants to delay his decision, a report claims.
MilanNews writes how there is still a lot of uncertainty regarding Calhanoglu as the Turkey international has not yet given an answer to Milan’s offer of a €4m net per season contract until 2026. However, rumours that he is rethinking are increasingly insistent.
The report mentions how Calhanoglu confessed to some team friends that he could stay at Milan but would first like to take advantage of the European Championships as a chance to showcase his ability.
Milan are still moving to find a replacement but in the last few hours the player has realised that he has no offers higher than that of Milan, and he would is thinking about it. The Rossoneri in the meantime have tested the ground for Rodrigo De Paul from Udinese, but the costs are very high and the operation could only succeed with the inclusion of counterparts.
