AC Milan are working on the renewal of midfielder Franck Kessie and are getting closer to matching his demands, a report claims.
MilanNews writes that the upcoming week will be crucial in the negotiations over Kessie’s renewal, which the management of course want to sort as soon as possible given that his deal expires in 2022.
Milan and the player must find an agreement on the fixed salary and bonuses, and the request of Kessie’s entourage is €6m net per season guaranteed while t Rossoneri, for now, have offered the €6m but including bonuses.
The parties are not far away, but are continuing to negotiate in the hope of finding a total agreement soon. Milan’s will is to keep the Ivorian, as losing him for free or even selling him this summer would not go down well with a fan base that has already seen Gianluigi Donnarumma and Hakan Calhanoglu leave for nothing.
