After beating Genoa 2-0, AC Milan will have to recharge their batteries fairly quickly as a clash against Inter awaits on Tuesday. It remains to be seen if a defensive duo will be at Stefano Pioli’s disposal.
It’s the second leg of the Coppa Italia semi-final and it’s worth noting that Milan will be the designated away side. And since the first leg ended 0-0, it means the Rossoneri would go through to the final with a draw (albeit not another 0-0 one).
Milan were dealt a blow ahead of the Genoa clash as Davide Calabria sustained an injury shortly before the game. In addition, Matteo Gabbia was forced to leave the pitch in the second half due to an injury.
The latter was back in training today (pictured on the club’s website) but as reported by MilanNews, Calabria and Alessio Romagnoli trained individually. It remains to be seen if they will be available for the important clash or not.
