By Isak Möller -

Players have come and gone over the years, but Gigio Donnarumma remains the star of AC Milan. As MilanNews.it reports this morning, the young goalkeeper continues to impress and the Rossoneri intend to lock him down for a long time, revisiting the contract matter.

In the eyes of Boban, the report continues, Donnarumma is the real leader of the locker room. The 20-year old is closing in on his 200th performance with the club, making him one of the most experienced players as well.

Therefore, there will soon be talks with his agent, Mino Raiola. The report claims that Milan intend to extend the current deal, which expires in 2021, though without raising an already expensive salary (€6m). However, the agent will most likely ask for an increase.

As a result of this, the negotiations will certainly be delicate, though it seems that the will of both parties is to continue the partnership. As the report concludes, PSG remain interested in the player and thus Milan want to lock him down.
