According to MilanNews.it, after initially rejecting this formula, Real Madrid are now open to letting the Jovic leave on loan. Last season was a disappointment for the Serbian and in order to redeem himself, he will need playing time.
Therefore, the Bernabeu side have agreed to the loan formula and this could be a good opportunity for Milan. The Rossoneri seemingly pulled out of the race earlier this summer due to the price tag and it remains to be seen if they will re-join it.
Lorenzo Colombo, the young striker, impressed during pre-season and several reports suggested that he would be the backup for Zlatan Ibrahimovic. This might not be the case after all, though, should Milan go after Jovic.
