MN: Florenzi wants to stay beyond loan and Milan need him – a win-win situation

By Isak Möller -

This summer, AC Milan decided to bring in Alessandro Florenzi on loan with an option to buy from Roma. The versatile Italian, known for his commitment, could be the perfect solution for the Rossoneri.

Involved in Serie A, Champions League and Coppa Italia, Milan will inevitably play a lot of games this season and the schedule will sometimes be very tight. In that sense, it’s important to have good depth to cover for potential injuries and tired players.

As underlined by MilanNews, the signing of Florenzi was clearly aimed at fixing this, as well as adding experience to the team. The 30-year-old can be used as a right-back, a midfielder and a right-winger, making him a useful resource for Stefano Pioli.

Milan need him to perform on a high level and it’s a win-win situation, as the report highlights. Florenzi wants to stay beyond the season-long loan and with the help of the aforementioned, he will have a good chance of being redeemed at the end of the season.

  1. Dalot was a much better fit to our team and with his best years ahead of him, for Florenzi it’s the opposite. So far, at both Right- back and Right- wing he has been poor.

    1. The problem with Dalot is he is good going forward but he can’t defend to save his life and gives us the fans a heart attack every time he has to. Plus if he cannot even get into Manchester’s dreadful defense right now it says it all.

      1. And remember Manchester United have the worst defense statically in their league. So that’s a no, Kalulu is better than Dalot in every way. Man is a future French RB.
