MN: Giampaolo deciding between Rebic and Leao for Torino clash

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan head coach Marco Giampaolo is reportedly deciding between Ante Rebic and Rafael Leao for a position in the front against Torino.

The Rossoneri are looking to put Saturday’s Derby della Madonnina defeat to Inter behind them on Thursday night when they travel north to Turin – a city where they have not won since December 2012.

The warning signs have been apparent so far this season: two defeats from the opening four Serie A games, two goals scored and just one coming from open play.

Sky Italia (via MilanNews) reported earlier on Tuesday that Giampaolo is set to use a 4-3-3 against Walter Mazzarri’s Torino side, with three possible combinations for the attacking trident.

According to a report from MilanNews, the head coach is only deciding on one position, and that is the left wing.

Suso has his spot nailed down on the right side of the trio, with Krzysztof Piatek also safe as the centre-forward, but Leao and Rebic are battling for the final place.

During tomorrow’s training session, Giampaolo will make the final decision on who will complete the attacking trident.
