MN: Giroud’s condition not a worry while Ibrahimovic returns to group training

By Oliver Fisher -

The AC Milan staff are not concerned by the condition of Olivier Giroud despite him taking a couple of knocks in recent games, according to a report.

According to what is being reported by MilanNews, the squad returned to training at Milanello today and Giroud was present after he ‘came out a bit battered’ after Tuesday’s Champions League match against Napoli.

The Frenchman did aerobic work with those who played at the Maradona and thankfully his condition is of no concern, therefore he should be available for Sunday’s match against Lecce at San Siro.

Meanwhile, the same source are also reporting that Zlatan Ibrahimovic did the entire session with the group, including the practice match which was mixed teams with the Under 18s. The Swedish forward will be monitored day by day to see if he could possibly be called up for the match at the weekend having shrugged off discomfort.

    1. Or Bakayoko,as I have said in the past when either of those two are on the pitch, you would think we just put them on loan to our opposition.
