MN: Good feeling emanated after first talks between Cardinale and Maldini

There are positive early signs filtering regarding the initial talks between Gerry Cardinale of RedBird Capital and Paolo Maldini.

According to Carlo Pellegatti in his editorial for MilanNews, a good feeling has already been achieved after a fleeting acquaintance between Paolo Maldini and Gerry Cardinale. The cohesion between all the members of the club, including Elliott Management, RedBird and the management at Casa Milan, is instantly a good sign.

Pellegatti adds that some divergences have arisen and will be ironed out in the future but the most important thing for Milan is that there are ‘intelligent’ people in place and that is ‘synonymous with humility’, so the parties will always find convergence and synthesis.

Regarding the renewals of Maldini and sporting director Ricky Massara, the exact date of the signing is not yet known but it will be before June 30th. There is no need to be worried about the delay, and they are conducting the market as planned.

  1. So far there has been much talking about signing
This, that but nothing happened. So much interest for Botman and now looks like he will be out. I hope that Milan will not loose Leao.
Cardinale should allow Maldini more money to get a powerful team.
