MN: History repeats itself at Milan and Kessie will fight until the bitter end

History is repeating itself at AC Milan as Franck Kessie, one of their key players, is expected to leave on a free transfer in the summer. It’s very clear that he will stay professional until the end, though.

Last year, it was Gigio Donnarumma and Hakan Calhanoglu that decided to leave Milan at the end of their respective contract. This year, it will almost certainly be Kessie and perhaps also their captain Alessio Romagnoli.

As highlighted by MilanNews, though, it has become very clear that Kessie will remain professional and give his all for the club until the summer. We saw it against Napoli and frankly, we saw it from both Calhanoglu and Donnarumma as well.

The reality is that the duo massively helped Milan finish in second place last season and Kessie now finds himself in the same position. He will most likely play from the first minute against Empoli tomorrow and it will be another important opportunity to shine.
