According to MilanNews, Ibrahimovic appeared on the big screens of the San Siro before the game, which was greeted with a loud roar from the fans present at the stadium. The Swede responded smiling happily, showing a heart to the cameras and making a gesture with his hands as if to say ‘see you soon’.

The Rossoneri striker was relying on his teammates getting the job done against RB Salzburg in the final group game in midweek so that he can then play a role in the round of 16 of the Champions League, which they did with a 4-0.
It is expected that he will be back amongst the squad and the bench for matches in January, when everyone else returns from the World Cup and the planned retreat in Dubai.
