MN: Ibrahimovic has never started on the bench for AC Milan

By Isak Möller -

Zlatan Ibrahimovic is coming back to AC Milan. However, things are certainly not the same as during his last spell, both on a team and individual level. In other words, it will be interesting to see how he gets on.

There’s no doubt that the Swedish international is what the Rossoneri need, currently battling a lack of experience. Both on and off the pitch, given his character and winning mentality, he will surely demand a lot from his teammates.

Then again, things are very different. Milan are no longer a top team, sitting in the middle of the league standings. Furthermore, on an individual level, Ibrahimovic isn’t the same player that he was seven years ago.

At the age of 38, perhaps he won’t be able to full 90-minute games week in week out. As MilanNews.it reports, the striker has never started on the bench for the Rossoneri, playing 61 games from start in the league. Most likely, this spell will be broken.
