MN: Kalulu set for fifth consecutive appearance – Milan delighted with his growth

By Isak Möller -

As a result of the injury crisis at the back, Stefano Pioli was forced to play the young right-back Pierre Kalulu alongside Alessio Romagnoli against Parma. Since then, he has gone from strength to strength.

Fortunately, just a few days before the Parma clash – during which Matteo Gabbia got injured – Pioli tried Kalulu at the centre of the defence against Sparta Praha. That performance was enough to assure the manager.

As highlighted by MilanNews.it, the Frenchman will make his fifth consecutive appearance for the Rossoneri against Lazio this evening, his fourth from start. Not many would have imagined this given how little he played at the start of the season.

Milan are delighted with his growth and he’s yet another testament that they are doing something right on the market. The scouting department should be very pleased with the signing, especially since he came for free from Lyon this summer.
