MN: Key Milan player at risk of suspension for Juventus match in Serie A

By Euan Burns -

AC Milan full-back Theo Hernandez is one yellow card away from being suspended for the Rossoneri’s match against Juventus after the international break.

As highlighted by Milan News, the French defender will need to be as careful as possible when Milan take on Genoa on Saturday night, a game he is expected to start.

One yellow card would not affect his involvement in the Champions League game with PSG after the international break, but it would mean he misses the home game against Juventus on October 22.

Even if he is able to avoid a yellow card against Genoa and does play against Juventus, the following Serie A game is against Napoli so there is a risk of suspension there as well.

Given it is a position in which Pioli does not have many options, he is unlikely to want to take Hernandez out of the team against Genoa on Saturday night.
