MN: Kjaer and Okafor not available for Juventus game – the reason

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan head coach Stefano Pioli will not be able to call upon Simon Kjaer for the friendly match against Juventus in the United States.

Kjaer did manage to get on the field for the closing stages of the 3-2 defeat against Real Madrid at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena earlier in the week, and he was given a tough examination by Vinicius Jr. who outpaced him for their third goal.

According to what is being reported by MilanNews, Kjaer will be absent from the friendly match against Juventus because he is engaged in specific individual work after his return from vacation.

The Dane is one of those players who returned later due to commitments with his national team and must follow a specialised work programme.

Meanwhile, Pioli will also not have Noah Okafor at his disposal. Although he has done a couple of training sessions with the team he is not yet deemed ready to take part in a game situation.

Pierre Kalulu will also not take part having just joined the group following an extended vacation, while Junior Messias has a muscle injury and will miss out.
