MN: Krunic open to Fenerbahce move as Milan’s stance on sale emerges

The rumours about Fenerbahce having a strong interest in signing Rade Krunic from AC Milan have been confirmed by a reliable source.

Yağız Sabuncuoğlu and Ertan Süzgün of Sports Digitale published a report earlier today claiming that Fenerbahce have reached an agreement with Krunic over a proposed contract and they even added that the former Empoli man is pushing for the move.

According to the latest from MilanNews, Fenerbahce are indeed pushing for Krunic and the Turkish club have put forward a significant proposal to the player with regards to his personal terms.

Milan however do not need to sell to raise cash, and they would only think about selling the Bosnia international in the case of an offer that simply cannot be refused, like the Sandro Tonali situation.

Meanwhile, Krunic appears open to the idea of potentially making the move to Turkey, but there is no suggestion he will force an exit.

    1. Wanting an upgrade over Krunic isn’t hating on Krunic.
Unless you are an extremist there is a gray area where fans appreciate what Krunic has done/ doing for Milan, but at the same time want to upgrade over him.
One of the ways to get an upgrade is to sell a player, use the money from his sale, + some extra funds and get a better player.

        1. Wow.
Your comments in here are getting more ignorant by the minute.
          Great analogy 👏 .
You have outdone yourself once again

          1. It’s about loyalty.

You wouldn’t do that to your wife because you’re loyal to her, so show the same loyalty to your football team, which means showing loyalty to the players who play for your football team.

If there’s no loyalty, there’s no football team, it’s pointless, as well as not a great basis for success.

      1. no, no. I’ve seen straight on hating.. from people who are Milan “fans”…
And he never did anything to deserve that

    2. He’s 29 years old with 2 years left on his contract. He probably realizes there’s no guarantee he gets another contract beyond age 31 at Milan or that he will get more money in the event that he does. He also just saw the club bring in 3 new younger central midfielders this summer. I would imagine an offer for more money and a longer contract from Turkey sounds pretty good. Certainly worth listening to. Most guys don’t make any decision that even considers what the “fans” think about them. This is their livelihood.

    3. I don’t hate on him nor do many Milan fans I know. He’s a good squad player. That’s it. Shouldn’t be a starter. If a 10-15 million euro offer comes, I don’t see why not. He’s probably at his peak valuation when it comes to transfers.

But we will need to replace him

      1. Agree that he will need to be replaced if he leaves. I like the Dominguez idea, so that we make up the numbers and bring a defensive midfielder in to contrast with the others.

      2. Where are you getting these valuations from?!?!? I remember people saying the same about Rebic, who went for €0.5 million. I doubt Krunic will go for more than €2 million, if he were to be sold.

    4. well.. if you’re used to watch where pirlo, gattuso, seedorf and kaka/rui costa on midfield and then you watch messias/saelmaekers, brahim and krunic/bennacer/tonali (well tonali and benni excluded) of course you want an update from that..

        1. He’s not the next Ambrosini, Tonali was, and I’d like to be clear that I consider Ambrosini to be a good player, maybe even very good, but nothing more, unlike some here who think he was world class for some reason. As for Krunic, yes he’s not special, but he doesn’t deserve to be called a “bozo” either as he’s been a good servant for the club. Let him stay or go in peace.

  1. He’s really done well for us…. He gets better game after game. If I were in charge I would never sell him. Perhaps, he fears there will be little chance for him or he wants a new contract with guarantees of playing time…. We fans don’t appreciate a player that gives his all by heart till he lives. Leaò, Tonali, Krunic, e.t.c started slowly like CDK right now. We should be patient with him too❤️🖤

  2. He has done enough,to me,a player like krunic, messias, mesbah and others are not suppose to be playing for milan, but the mighty has fallen,i want him to leave,an average player supposose to be playing in serie B…even pioli as a coach isnt milan type cuz we sees his limits, all the errors that cost milan

  3. So the only No.6 player we have left is about to leave?
Then we better sign Dominguez in case Musah doesnt work out in that position. Having 5 mezzalas (Musah, Reijnders, Loftus-Cheek, Pobega, Adli if he stays) and Bennacer, only possible No.6 left, injured to January 2024 wont hold. In a 4-3-3 the defensive qualities of the no.6 is even more important then in a 4-2-3-1 pivot because you are alone defending in front of the CBs.

    1. Musah plays as a 6 for his national team pretty well. But if Krunic leaves, we do need another. And if Dominguez is still available

  4. He’s a good utility player but he’s a patch at its best. If he wants to leave ok, but that opens up another hole in already leaky midfield. They are again left with no depth considering the switch to 433.

  5. If milan can get a decent money from krunic, what if milan offer cdk + money to atalanta for koopmeiners?
There have been news about atalanta interested in cdk

    1. It’s not a bad idea. 15m plus CDK (valued at 25m). That way we cover Krunic’s and Kessie’s departure and don’t book a loss on CDK.

  6. Pioli are like krunic father, he wont forcing exit as long as pioli still in coach . I dont think good idea force selling him , he is versatile and selling him will make ACM starter midfield 100% new player, thats too risky , new player need time to adaptation , what if they fail adaptation like CDK ? Krunic & bennacer ( injured) are the only midfield left that understand pioli tactic . Selling krunic will make ACM repeat yong hong li time ( using new player biglia ,kessie as starter and the result are bad )
