MN: The latest on Milan’s incoming mercato – from Danjuma to Taremi

By Isak Möller -

AC Milan have been working very hard on the transfer market over the last few weeks, as evidenced by the four signings made, but more reinforcements are needed. Therefore, they are working on several fronts.

The Rossoneri are not just looking to reinforce the attack by signing a right-winger and a striker, but also the midfield given the departure of Sandro Tonali. Ruben Loftus-Cheek has arrived, but at least one more name is needed.

According to MilanNews, talks with AZ Alkmaar over Tijjani Reijnders continue and Milan could improve their offer once again (this would be the third time). The feeling is that an agreement can be reached.

Up front, Samuel Chukwueze remains the first choice for the right flank but his price tag of €35m has complicated matters. Therefore, Milan could turn to his teammate Arnaut Danjuma instead and with a loan formula.

Finally, Mehdi Taremi remains a hot candidate for the No.9 role but his age (30) and the price tag of €20m have forced the Rossoneri to reflect on the matter.
