MN: The latest on three Milan Primavera products as loan moves beckon

By Isak Möller -

A lot of the focus lately has been on Milan’s first-team operations, and rightfully so, but there is also a lot happening on the Primavera front. Three players are set to leave on loan, a report claims.

As reported by MilanNews, the 21-year-old Gabriele Bellodi is once again expected to leave the Rossoneri on loan. He was on loan at Alessandria this past season and is now set to return to Serie C side Olbia on loan.

20-year-old Riccardo Oddi, who plays as a full-back, is also set for another loan experience after returning from Serie C side Trento. Fiorenzuola are close to securing him on loan and it will thus be another Serie C experience for Oddi.

Finally, Cosenza have deposited the contract of Milan’s Primavera star, Marco Nasti. The 18-year-old joins the Serie B side on loan and it will be interesting to see what he can do, having been so successful with the Primavera side.

    1. checked the two players on transfermarkt and they both actually has expiring contracts so i believe you are right unless they pull off something well above expectations. The fact that we loan those two players out with the new loan rules made me look up the ruleset and apparently its only international loans where these rules will have to be followed.

A phased-in restriction on the number of international loans in and out during each season as follows:
      Season 1 July 2022 to 30 June 2023: maximum of 8 players.
      Season 1 July 2023 to 30 June 2024: maximum of 7 players.
      Season 1 July 2024 to 30 June 2025: maximum of 6 players.

      1. small add:
Although domestic loans are outside of the new regulatory framework, implications are on the horizon as member associations will have until 2025 to ensure their own rules on loans are in line with FIFA’s principles.
