Rafael Leao was forced off early during last night’s win against Torino after the second penalty incident, but his condition is nothing to be worried about.
It was 20 minutes into the second half when Leao went on one of his typical surging runs into the box and beat Perr Schuurs to the byline, crossing the ball but getting taken out in the process which led to a penalty after VAR review.
Giroud then tucked the spot kick away, but there was some apprehension after Leao’s exit from the field because Stefano Pioli forced to make a substitution after the nasty tackle, albeit one that was more due to bad timing than malice.
According to MilanNews, there is nothing to worry about regarding the Portuguese winger because he just sustained a painful stomp rather than anything more damaging that might keep him on the sidelines.
It is good news given that the next two matches on the schedule are Roma and Inter away.
Don’t worry we got oka4 to the subs
Don’t be deceived. Who is Okafor ???
Who cares, since it would be Puli at LW and Chuk at RW if Leao can’t make the Roma game.
What sought of question are you asking?
Is Okafor not a good player?
Besides, they all have their playing style. Okafor is good enough to take the barton from Rafa Leao if he’s not fit enough.
Rafa should be rested against A.S. Roma so he can be used in Derby Della Madonina. Leao and Pulisic can’t be used in all matches.
@Gbenga AJOSE, my post is for you
I think Pioli must rest Leao against Roma with the Derby in sight. Pulisic and Chukuweze can start then Okafor relieves Giroud. Pellegrino, Musah, relieves Tomori , Loftus-cheek .
Roma is not a work-over match
