MN: Maldini and Massara called on to sell – two players are leading candidates

By Oliver Fisher -

The AC Milan management will be called upon to sell players in order to raise cash for new signings, according to a report.

MilanNews write that the Rossoneri leadership are looking to bring in at least four new signings and potentially five, with the following roles targeted: right-back, central midfielder, right winger, attacking midfielder and a young striker.

However, the other part of the summer market is that sales will be needed which is the most difficult thing to do, especially in a transfer window which will obviously be conditioned by the lack of money in football due to Covid.

Andrea Conti seems destined to leave and Roberto D’Aversa – the new Sampdoria coach who brought him to Parma on loan – is keen on signing the right-back, but Milan are under pressure to sell this summer as his contract will expire on 30 June 2022.

Another profile that could leave is Jens-Petter Hauge and for him, Milan want between €12m and €14m. There was interest from Wolfsburg and Eintracht Frankfurt in the Bundesliga, but the offers arrived were considered low.
