MN: Milan and Celtic to use Europa League game as opportunity to discuss full-back’s future

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan and Celtic could use Thursday’s Europa League clash as an opportunity to talk about the future of Diego Laxalt, a report claims.

Calciomercato.com recently reported that Celtic are very happy with the performance of Laxalt so far and are ready to begin negotiating a permanent deal.

Laxalt joined the Scottish champions on a dry loan in the summer, and reports that there could be discussions as soon as January about making that permanent given how much the Uruguayan has impressed.

They added that agent is in contact with the two clubs and the player seems happy with the possibility of remaining in Glasgow.

As per the latest from MilanNews, Laxalt will return to San Siro for the first time since being loaned to the Scottish club in the summer.

It will also be an opportunity to talk about a possible future in Glasgow, as the Celtic management are satisfied with his performances until now.
