MN: Milan arrive in Austria – the latest on Bakayoko, Pobega and Origi’s injuries

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan have now moved on to Austria to continue their preseason preparations with a friendly against Wolfsberger on the horizon.

MilanNews write that the team arrived in Villach today, where they will remain until Wednesday for a mini training camp in Austria. Stefano Pioli and his squad encountered so many fans outside the stadium of the Austrian town, with some of them climbing on the roofs of the cars to see the training, so he let those fans in to show their support.

In terms of injury news, Tiemoué Bakayoko, did not take the field against ZTE following a slight discomfort he felt in his knee but he had already warmed up with his team-mates yesterday and trained today.

Tommaso Pobega on the other hand reported a problem in his thigh but it is nothing to worry about, though he will do some individual work and will then rejoin the group as soon as the issue is disposed of. Divock Origi continues with his individual work, meanwhile.
