By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan want to keep Ante Rebic at all costs after he his remarkable rise to form, a report claims, with work underway to try and strike a deal.

According to MilanNews, the Croatia international is happy at Milan where he feels that he can finally show his true capabilities, and he wishes to remain beyond his loan spell.

Inside the offices of Casa Milan they are all satisfied with his performance and it is for this reason that moves are being made to try and make ends meet with Eintracht Frankfurt, where Rebic is under contract until 2022.

The two clubs will have to agree on Rebic’s evaluation, with the inclusion of André Silva’s card possible in order to meet the asking price and protect the budget.

However, it must also be noted that as part of the deal that saw Rebic move to Germany, Fiorentina included a clause which sees them recoup 50% of any future proceeds from a resale.

Milan and the German club – which have excellent relations – are well aware of this situation which must be studied. The will of the Rossoneri is to settle the issue before June 30, 2021, the date on which the two-year loans of the two players will expire.
