MN: Milan handed Maignan boost ahead of Tottenham clash – the latest

By Isak Möller -

Mike Maignan has been out with an injury for four months now and the recovery process hasn’t exactly gone the way AC Milan had hoped. However, good news has arrived with regard to his return.

The Frenchman’s absence has been heavily felt lately and Milan are hoping that he can be back as soon as possible. However, after the setbacks in the recovery process, the Rossoneri have decided not to rush things.

According to MilanNews, Maignan underwent new tests earlier today and they showed that the recovery has gone well. Milan will continue to be cautious but the feeling is that he could be available for the game against Tottenham on February 14.

Hopefully, we will soon see the end of what has been a painful saga for the fans. Maignan is a key player for the team not just in terms of saving shots, but also helping his teammates build from the back in the best way possible.

  1. Even if all our injured players recover and are fully fit Milan’s problems will continue not until we are ready to sign quality players to fit in the positions (especially attacking midfield, RW and a good
CF) that are empty in our team. We need to get players that can enable Pioli to rotate the team’s formation according to our opponent instead of sticking to his 4-2-3-1 formation all the time.

    1. R. Leao is over working and Bennacer and Tonali can not do it all at the middle. Theo also needs time to rest as he is not fully fit yet. Tomori and Kalulu are also trying but…they need to work harder. I am not expecting Milan to progress from the UCL round of 16 but if we do I will be very glad because Tottenham is also struggling in EPL.
