MN: Milan given boost ahead of Napoli game as forward returns to training

By Oliver Fisher -

Good news has arrived from this afternoon’s training session at Milanello in view of the match against Napoli regarding Noah Okafor.

According to what is being reported by MilanNews, Okafor returned to full training with the rest of the squad after the muscular problems that prevented him from taking part in the game against Paris Saint-Germain in midweek.

It is a different and less positive story however for Luka Jovic and Ruben Loftus-Cheek, who carried out individual training on the field. For the Serbian there is the possibility that he could return to training with the squad tomorrow.

However, the suggestion is that Loftus-Cheek – who has not played since the win against Lazio at San Siro earlier in the month – is unlikely to recover for Sunday’s game.

Stefano Pioli will at least have an added alternative for the attack though, after only having Chaka Traore able to come on in Paris.

  1. Okafor
    Pulisic
    RLC
    Chukwueze

These guys were all injury prone players before we got them. This really shouldn’t be a surprise that three quarters of them are injured.

        1. You are such a re$ard man, how can someone be so re$arded to give birth to a piece of dump like, I would fuc$$ng ki$$ myself if my son would be like you. Are you poor that you can’t afford high speed internet to check the things you say?? Check how much Bayer Leverkusen paid for him and compare it with what we pay for Chukwueze.

      1. We could have gotten a proper 6 too.
I actually like Romero, had him as a break out pic but he doesn’t get game time. I really wish he did.

        1. I think that’s one of the main reasons for our vulnerability against teams with pacey strikers. Also, our midfielders stay out of position quite a lot of times when the opposition play counter-attack. We should buy a proper DM, a good defensive right back, a proven goalscorer, then only we will be able to compete with strong oppositions.

      2. Well said. NOT getting a #9 is already costing us. Boniface, Wahi, Taremi, etc….we could have had any of them BUT we gambled and settled on Jovic LOLOLOLO. HUGE mistake by management. No new DEF MID was another miss – same with not getting Singo or not getting a back up to Theo. Lots of mistakes in this market as we are starting to see.

    1. We don’t care. Furolani strengthened the squad. He has done better in one season than all Maldini ever did – his playing career included.

    2. Chuk i dont think injury prone. Add jovic to the list injury prone . Dont forget the most loyal patient caldara, even though just with training

  2. Okafor deserves starter through out we need to depend on Okafor to sort out goals for us he is far better than Geroud he has space eloquent and determine to make a difference in times of goal scoring but Acmilan must not play the 4-3-3 let Pioli ends this drama of 4-3-3 we don’t need it is not working at all Pioli should play the 4-2-3-1 till the end of this season Acmilan can play and score more goals
