Milan have already announced the signing of Mike Maignan from Lille and the next step seems to be the loanees, specifically those with buy-out options. Fikayo Tomori is one of them and his stay at the club seems certain.
As reported by Anto Vitiello of MilanNews, the Rossoneri are conducting this market in stages and the next one is the loanees with buy-out options. Contacts are expected with Chelsea next week to secure the operation for Tomori.
The Stamford Bridge side will hardly grant a discount and Milan are willing to pay the €28m that they agreed on in January. The coming week, therefore, could be the one for the announcement as little is missing.
Meanwhile, Milan are also working on the redemption of Sandro Tonali, which will cost them €25m (including bonuses). Contrary to previous reports, they are not looking to lower the fee but will discuss the payment structure with Brescia.
