AC Milan are managing Olivier Giroud’s workload in view of Saturday’s game against Roma but the signs are positive, a report claims.
Today marked the resumption of training at Milanello this morning after the two days of rest granted by Stefano Pioli following the victory over Lecce on Sunday evening at San Siro.
A crucial match is coming up against Roma, one that will be potentially decisive in determining who gets in the top four and thus makes the next edition of the Champions League.
MilanNews writes that Pioli and his staff want to make sure they have all the best men in top form given the number of games on the schedule and their magnitude, including Giroud.
He sustained a knock during the quarter-final second leg against Napoli and was rested in the league match against Lecce. Today he did individual work at Milanello as he continues to recover from his bruised calf, but it is simply workload management and he should be back for Saturday.
Please, Olivier, we need you!
Yes Olivier you are the man ,recover and we will win against Roma …
