MN: Milan need a right-winger to compete with Saelemaekers next season

By Isak Möller -

Alexis Saelemaekers was a very important player for Milan this past season, helping out in both phases of the game from his right-wing position. However, for next season, a more prolific alternative will be needed.

As highlighted by MilanNews, it won’t be easy for the one who arrives to steal the starting spot from Saelemaekers, given how much he has played lately. However, the two could potentially coexist (alternate) depending on the opponents.

There are a few names on the Rossoneri’s wish list, including Chelsea winger Hakim Ziyech. The Moroccan hasn’t been a huge success since he arrived in London and a loan move (maybe even permanent) could perhaps do him well.

In addition to Ziyech, Milan are also monitoring the situation of Toulouse’s Amine Adli. The youngster has convinced everyone in the Rossoneri management and would cost around €10m. It’s an investment that the club certainly can afford.
