Alessandro Florenzi won the first Scudetto of his career with AC Milan one month ago and the experienced right-back is expected to remain at the club. In fact, an agreement has been reached with Roma, a report claims.
Despite struggling with a couple of injuries this past season, Florenzi managed to make an impact with his experience and quality on the pitch. The 31-year-old found the back of the net twice and was also an important leader for what was a young side.
It’s not exactly surprising, therefore, that Milan decided to redeem the player this summer. However, not for the €4.5m initially agreed with Roma, as highlighted by MilanNews this morning. Instead, they will pay a mere €2m.
For a player of Florenzi’s quality, that is indeed a great deal and the Rossoneri can only hope that he will avoid any serious injury this upcoming season. When he’s fit, he’s a great option for the right-hand side, whether in defence or in attack.
A good deal for a solid & versatile player 👍
While he didn’t play a lot but his contribution was important for last season scudetto.

What a deal for 2m that’s great work from massara and Maldini great start so far Forza Milan
For 2 milion I think this is a great “buy”. He performs well as a backup and we need his experience.
