AC Milan have confirmed the injuries sustained by Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Alexis Saelemaekers during Sunday’s 3-1 win over Napoli.
Ibrahimovic was the man of the moment again as he scored his fourth brace of the season in the league to fire the Rossoneri to arguably their biggest win of the campaign at a stadium where they have not won for 10 years.
However, there was a substantial amount of panic as the Swede did limp off later in the game with what looked like a thigh problem. He initially pulled up after a cross and tried to play on, but then collapsed in a heap and came off.
According to a number of sources including MilanNews, Ibrahimovic has suffered an injury to the left hamstring muscle and a new exam will be done in 10 days.
Saelemaekers meanwhile also came off with an injury, and it has been confirmed that he suffered a first-degree sprain in his left ankle.
