AC Milan are looking to offload Lucas Paqueta as quickly as possible in order to generate funds for signings, a report claims.
According to Pietro Mazzara’s latest update for MilanNews, Paquetà is out of the Milan project. Yesterday at the pre-Bologna press conference head coach Stefano Pioli confirmed this, admitting that the Brazilian’s technical characteristics are not very compatible with what he is asking for.

It is unlikely that Paqueta will use the 23-year-old against Bologna on Monday night in Milan’s Serie A opener even if he is included in the matchday squad as the club have become ‘tired’ of his ‘attitude’.
The club need to generate €22-23million from his sale in order to avoid recording a loss on the books, with Lyon and Valencia both interested and in talks with the player’s agent Eduardo Uram, agent of Paquetà.
However, a concrete offer to Milan is needed, so the club can guarantee being able to use those funds to land a centre-back.
