MN: Milan want to secure the long-term future of Theo Hernandez as PSG links persist

By Oliver Fisher -

The Milan management are aware just how important Theo Hernandez is to the team and want to secure his long-term future, a report claims.

MilanNews writes that it is true that the expiration of his agreement is still far away given that he signed a five-year deal when he arrived from Real Madrid back in 2019, but it is also necessary to get as much leverage as possible from a security point of view.

This is especially the case if other clubs come forward, with Paris Saint-Germain mentioned in the report. PSG are of course a club that could still test Milan with a huge bid regardless of Theo’s contract situation, but a repeat of the Gianluigi Donnarumma and Franck Kessie sagas cannot be allowed.

Theo Hernandez now seems to be an established France international too having made three appearances for them since his first call-up earlier in the season, amassing a goal and an assist.
