MN: Milan working scrupulously on the market – the management have one key objective

By Oliver Fisher -

It promises to be a busy week ahead as the Milan management are at work to get the squad ready for 2021-22 and a return to the Champions League.

Milan managed to secure a second-placed finish thanks to the 2-0 win away against Atalanta on the final day of the season and now attention has turned to what should be a more prosperous summer mercato based on the extra revenue that has been secured.

MilanNews mentions four operations in particular that are set to be in the limelight this week: the permanent signing of Fikayo Tomori, trying to secure the return of Brahim Diaz then the possible signings of Olivier Giroud or Edin Dzeko. The one that has just begun promises to be a very intense week on the market for Milan, who are working scrupulously on its goals.

The aim of Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara is simple: is to give Pioli a competitive squad on three fronts (Serie A, the Coppa Italia and Champions League) with at least two players per position.
